CODANA S.A. started its operations in 1985 as a company of a mixed economy and in 1991, it became an Anonymous Society. Its main share holders are the main Sugar Factories of Ecuador: Compañía Azucarera Valdez S.A. and Sociedad Agrícola Industrial San Carlos S.A.
Our factory is located in Milagro, Guayas Province, at 45 kilometers from Guayaquil, by the side of the buildgs of Ingenio Valdez, where starting with the "Melaza" of the sugar cane, the best extra neutral ethilic alcohol of 96° GL is produced.
In August 3, 2001, CODANA marked a hit certifying the production and comercialization of the alcohol un der the norm ISO 9001: 2000, becoming the first industry of its kind in Latin America obtaining such certificate.
CODANA with SODERAL, are the more experienced and important alcohol procers group in Ecuador.
